I was just surfing through the pic's thread and came across a picture of a guy called Tommy Morrison, who I recognised as Tommy Gun from Rocky V. I ran a search and found a guy called Tommy "the duke" Morrison, who has fought Lennox Lewis but retired after contracting HIV. Is this the same guy?

Even if not, did Tommy Gunn ever have a career as a pro boxer, the picture doesnt look like it's from the film....

Any info please, I'm intrigued........

Oh, and any info on Mike Williams, the guy who played Union Cane in the same movie - I hear he was set for a bout against Morrison?

Tommy Morrison/Tommy Gunn was a hell of a heavyweight and they are one and the same. Morrison hit like a wrecking ball, but his chin was very brittle and he did not have good stamina, but damn if he wasn't one of the most exciting fighters you would see because one way, or the other...someone was getting knocked out!

Yes Tommy Morrison was a real Heavyweight.

Tommy Gunn was just the character he played in the Rocky film.

Tommy Morrison was a good World class Heavyweight with good power but unreliable chin.

Also a chronic steroid abuser, as he has admitted now (unrepentant) and posited that many top boxers do the same thing.
