i thought it was a very close fight, both gave it there all from start to finish hard to chose a winner.

I was ringside and scored for Martin Watson. The referee had it 96-94 Meager.
Lee's a great guy and speaking to him after the fight his left hand may have broken as it was terribly swollen, but I really thought Watson was hard done by. He forced the fight from the off, rarely let the pace drop and more often than not had the last word in the "very hot" exchanges.
That said it was a cracking fight and both played their part to the full.

In the Record Books Meager beat Watson

Well, quite a few people thought Meager beat Danny Hunt (can't comment because they never showed the whole fight on Sky), so maybe he was 'due' a hometowner. The fact that Watson works hard aside, these type of robberies still cause a stink. Roll on three judges - he still may not have won, but a MD loss looks better than a Unanimous Decision.

Billy is a lot better than his record suggests and will be a decent workout for Craig as he rarely gets stopped like twin brother Ernie
