I've been following Litzau since about fight number 6, on the Brewer v Barr undercard. He's certainly got some offensive ability there, very impressive.

Thought I'd resurrect this one -- Litzau goes in against Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero Friday night.

Any thoughts? Litzau is good offensively but looks a little bit too fragile to be a pro boxer -- he looks like a skeleton in this weigh-in pic.

Guerrero has improved considerably since I saw him very early in his career on a SKY undercard; he didn't look to have any sort of punch at all back then. He's had a few off nights -- against tough guys Diaz & a (chemically-aided?) Orlando Salido -- but I think he's going to do the business here. Litzau just looks too fragile & I think the way to beat Guerrero is to pressure & outwork him.

Any thoughts as to how Derry Matthews would do with either of these guys?

I haven't followed Litzau before, but intend on getting some of his fights. Any that you recommend?

Yeah good fight this one, Litzau will come out blasting, he likes to try and take charge of a fight straight away, but when his opponents get though the first couple of rounds he sometimes finds it hard to re-adjust.
Guerrero has also stopped alot of recent opponents, but he's more of a wear them down type of boxer. Throws lots of shots. Good chin as well.

That may be how the fight goes, with Litzau taking the first 2 or 3 rounds, maybe wobbling Guerrero in the process, but gradually Guerrero assumes control and stops a tired Litzau late on in the 10th.
