braddock vs baer.. braddock for sure.
baer vs carnera.. 11 times he knocked him down

..true...but carnera also got up eleven times. for baer, i'd say kayo of schmeling.

i'm not going to look up at this whole list again......most choices seemed good when i read them.....though i think walcott against marciano while losing was more impressive than his kayo over charles. devastating one punch knockout...but against marciano he was in there for twelve rounds and not only ahead but making some of the best and cleverest moves i've ever seen by a heavyweight. his first fight with louis was also outstanding.

charles kayo moore...yeah...ezz had to come from behind and it was an explosive one punch kayo. judging from a bootleg film and reports though, i like his kayo over previous victor lloyd marshall...and his two wins over charley burley....burley was the favorite both times.

marciano/louis? it got him the title shot, but i think his peak effort was against charles in their first outing.

perhaps i'll look at the list again and maybe find more. hope you can take the suspense.

yeah its actually hard to figure out marciano. cause he never had an obvious peak fight. some people even say his best fight was his last against archie moore. but ur right, charles I that could very well be it. marcianmo slugged it out at a ferocious rate for 15 rounds. the referee didnt have to break them up ONCE the whole fight.

in regards to charles its hard to pick his best but i bet it was when he was light-H because that was his best weight. charles was also really good in charles-walcott II knocking walcott down.

tell me about the charles-marshall fight

Some good ones there. Some I would defo not agree with. Holmes win over Ali, c'mon...Ali was a sad sight that night. Also I'd have Leonard's victory over Hearns (1981) as his best display. Hagler V Minter was his finest display as was Duran V Leonard 1. Pryor V Arguello 1, Ali V Foreman, Foreman V Frazier, Tyson V Pinklon Thomas, Honeygan V Curry, McClellan V Julian Jackson 1&2......

Ali V Foreman[/b]

i was readin some of ur list and thought it was pretty god until i saw that. do u realize that was a 32 year old past his prime ali who just sat on the ropes and took punches until foreamn tired out. that was def not alis best fight. look at ali in the 60s and ull see a fast sharp and accuarate master boxer.

alis peak fight : clevelan williams TKO 3 or ali 15u over ernie terrell
