Henry "Sugar Poo" Buchanan , maybe it means something else where he comes from. Doesn't look a bad boxer though.

Anyone know the reason why Herbie Hide went with Dancing Destroyer i always presumed he wanted to be the dark destroyer but Benn had that nickname, does anyone know if this was the case ???

The Dancing Destroyer was one of the nicknames that Appollo Creed "used" in Rocky 4.

Michael 'Jack' Johnson! For those who rememeber, he nearly got decapitated by a young Mike Tyson, when Tyson was on the way up.
The man did not resemble Jack Johnson in the slightest, and his boxing skills were so far away from the original Jack Johnson.

I remember cringeing in utter embarrassment when Lennox was announced as "Lennox 'The Lion' Lewis" for the first Rahman match. That was ditched for the return. Must have been the nickname.

I have an unusual angle on this. For me, worse is better!
One that comes to mind is the politically incorrect Johnny 'The Scotch Wop' Dundee.
Hal 'Mommy's Special Champion' Johnson is another good one from way back.

theres andrew "six heads" lewis of course, always made me think of the hitchikers guide to the galaxty when he was mentioned.
and why did he call himslef that?
trying to work out how having six heads would strike fear into the heart of any opponents, supose it could confuse them by having multiple targets...
also Kermit the killer Cintron.
surely it should Kermit the frog Cintron.
I dont think anyone named after a muppet is gonna really be a killer.
