New Zealand heavyweight boxer David Tua has confirmed his next opponent for a fight in Florida.

Tua will fight little known American Cisse Salif in a month's time, Newstalk ZB reported.

Salif, 34, is ranked about 150 in the world and has a record of 17 wins and four losses.

Tua struggled in his last fight with Griffis so they are matching him easy at the moment.

Mercer v Briggs should be good for the first 3 rounds.
