who wins this great junior middleweight matchup???

Norris wouldn't have a chance. He was a slick boxer with good speed and power, but McCallum would be just too strong for him. If Norris was lucky he might rock McCallum a couple of times, but as soon as the Body Snatcher begins landing it's over. Honestly I couldn't see Norris lasting more than 8 rounds tops, in fact I could see this one ending as early as the 2nd if McCallum connects.

No doubt Mike would KO the weak chinned Norris. Terry looked great on offense but he was too easily hit and had a weak chin. Mike could bang hard and as soon as he connects clean, it's game over for Terry. Remember Mike KO'd Jackson, who destroyed Norris

There are two ways Norris could win this fight and in his prime he was capable of puuling off either . First, he'd have to box McCallum and box him almost flawlessly, using his hand speed and foot speed like Curry was doing early against McCallum. He would have to land some hard punches to keep Mike honest but not get caught up where Mike could get to his body. The other way is more a side effect of that plan and that would be to land something very big and get McCallum out; he had several one punch KOs including one against Steve Little in his only stoppage loss. Little fought for and won the 168lb title. I think McCallum would probably win, either by late TKO after slowing Norris a bit and then landing up top; also a deision would not suprise me and that decision would be closer than you'd think. It would mean Norris had fought a near perfect fight

I can`t really think of many who`d beat McCallum at 154lb, he was so much more back then than what is generally remembered about him in his heavier older days.

Winky Wright on pure awkwardness I initially thought, but that seems silly, McCallum would walk him down..no doubt

I'd go for Mccallum by late ko... Mike was a great puncher and Terry didn't have the best of chins... I think he'd wear down Norris after a slow start and get him in the late rounds.

I TOTALLY AGREE

McCallum would've got to him eventually over 15 rounds, but I think a peak McCallum, who fought at middleweight around '88-91, would've destroyed him. The Mike who edged awkward master boxers Herol Graham and Sumbu Kalambay would've outboxed and broken down Terry. Terry was a superb boxer, though.

I know Terry wasn't a huge junior middle (sometimes he weighed little over 147) & never challenged middles, but it would have been nice to see him step up. Norris' 154 division was good, but the middles of the time (McCallum, Nunn, Toney, J Jackson, Graham, Kalambay, Benn, Watson) were special & there were loads of big fights out there.

If Terry Norris boxes and uses his speed and movement he could give McCallum some problems, but I still see over 15 rounds McCallum catching up with him at some point and stopping him in the Championship rounds.

If Norris went to war with The Body Snatcher early, McCallum destroys him.

It is possible that Norris could fight the perfect fight and win a decision but no way does he KO McCallum. Julian Jackson had him hurt but couldn't finish him, and that may be the only time I remember seeing McCallum hurt in a fight. Anyway McCallum TKO8.
