Clive Bernath is a good writer but Greenberg is a while from being mentioned in this category - for a kick off he isn't British.

I thought Scott Gammar is the work in progress who is beating better opponents than Greenberg thus far, why isn't he mentioned.

If I recall rightly Clive runs the site for the owners, so he probably is under some pressure to do those puff pieces. Or then again, maybe he really thinks that Greenburg is all that.

I cannot say I am a fan of Scott "Ha-He-Ha" Gammar as me and my old man call him. He is very basic, very very very rare you will see him throw more than three shots at a time (usually straights) and he grunts (hence the little name we have for him).

I just think he has done more than Greenberg.

He did a better job on Krence than Skelton did. Make of that what you will.

Just saw "The First Billion Dollar Heavyweight" on Eurosport dispose of Josh Gutcher. Greenberg's punch picking was impressive and he targeted the body well but in reality Gutcher was just a big fat punch bag. It is one thing talking up a prospect and i have no problem with that but i look at Greenberg and i don't personally see a guy who is going to dominate the Heavyweights.

Yeah, I just watched it. Quite impressive but your assessment of the opponent was also spot on.

I couldn't quite understand the 'dilemma' Holdsworth was outlining for Fight Academy. He was basically saying Greenberg had to either remain smacking journeymen around or take on a big name. There are plenty of 'in betweenies' they could go for.

Yeah Holdsworth's "dilemma" was mystifying to me as well, he suggested they either let him off the leash or keep him knocking out stiffs, well he can't stop stiffs forever so they are going to have to let him off the leash eventually. As you rightly pointed out there are plenty of yardsticks or gatekeepers or whatever the correct term is for him to take on and i am sure they will offer more insight into Greenberg's future than the Gutcher's of this world.
