But anyone who can work a John Candy quote into an Audley Harrison article deserves credit. So please leave it here.

Nice one. If I ever open a shop or bar, you can have 28 days credit on the first £100 you spend.
Is that the kind of thing you were looking for?

That'll work.
Which reminds me of a very none PC episode of OFAH.
Rodney: 'You'l neva give me any credit wilw ya!?'
Albert: 'Neither will the *ethnic minority* shop rarnd the cor-wna.'

"What we're doing with Audley is keeping him busy until he has the chance to go out there against a top 10 fighter. I can tell you for a fact, F-A-C-T with capitals, that we tried to get Calvin Brock for this date but he turned it down. We also wanted to get Jameel McCline but he had no interest." - Goossen
I don't hear anybody calling out Our Audley

I think another Candy quote would've been better Dave -
"Those aren't pillows!"

Good interview there! Kind of got me rooting for him just a little bit in the fight to be honest. Seems like a decent guy.

Good article though Dave. But like you say, a guy who's just lost to a 5 fight novice is not exactly a giant step forward.
And as for beating his chest and calling out, specificaly, Calvin Brock - well Big Aud no doubt realises his size is going to make Brock look like a middleweight in there: not exactly brave.
Which brings us, appropriately, to his other designated victim, Big Jameel -a guy you'd definitely want to fight, if you didn't fancy getting hit too much.
Audley reminds me of a man peering over the edge of the high diving board, terrified of jumping in.
Now there's a line forming behind him, he's decided to dive into the shallow end - not always the best of moves.
