I'm sure most of you read an article in this week's Boxing News on Kell Brook, trained by Brendan Ingle.

Ingle reckons he's a future world champion and better than Amir Khan, can anyone elaborate on the young prospect?

kel is definatley on for the future, very excited about watching his career develop. Hope he gets tv coverage.

I'm interested in getting a look at Kell Brook, hopefully he'll get some TV coverage soon, The Ingles have said the same things about a few of thier fighters in the past, but the boxers have not quite lived up to the hype, so will be interesting how Brooks developes.

hopefully brook will be shown by sky on the woods-gonzalez undercard.

about time we had the opportunity to c what this young gun has.

Everytime Ingle gets a new prospect, he's aleays 'Better than Hamed"...

Anyone rememer Khaliq Shaffique?

What was the name of that skinny prospect that Brendan Ingle used to manage who used to try to fight like Hamed. He ended up in jail for some nasty offence. What was his name? He was an Asian lad.

Was that the young lad that Ingle hyped right up, turned pro had 1 fight and was lucky to escape with a draw?

I saw Kell on the undercard when Clinton won the world title. Slightly disappointed to be honest, nice balance and handspeed but couldn't see anything special that would make him go all the way.

I bet when Brendan shags his wife he say's "Was I better than Hamed?"

Mind you, either way she answers would be damming!

i recently saw kel brook box for the first time on the carl froch bill in nottingham, his opponent was jonathan whiteman. i was fairly impressed by his display, he puts together some sharp combonations which seem to come at you at awkward angles he also seems to have decent power he won this fight inside a couple of rounds, one fault he may have is carrying his chin a touch to high when letting his shots go but hes still young and i believe he will go fairly far in the game but only time will tell.

alot of Ingle type boxers hang there chin up in the air when throwing shots, i've always found that a fault of theirs, maybe it the way the fighters throw the awkward punches makes their heads come up.
