Anybody heard about this organisation - its a charity boxing event that I believe has held two annual shows. It is celebrity boxing but the emphasis is strongly on the charity it is raising - which is for meningitis trust.
It is based in New Zealand and the stars of the 2004 event were New Zealand rugby players. The 2005 event featured Rugby players from the UK and New Zealand (to coincide with the lions). The bit at the end of the video clip on the website stated that it was hoped that it would be broadcast in the UK.
Some big names in the world of Rugby were involved - Ofisu Tonu vs John Bentley, Frank Bunce vs Richard Webster (who has boxed), Frano Botica vs Maurice Field, Eric Rush vs Byron Hayward (who was in the WABA finals 2 years ago), Matua Parkinson vs Mark Jones - plus some geniuine boxing fights.
