Can anyone give me the short history and demise (if so) of the NYSAC and the National Boxing Association World Titles? Did they evolve into one of today's sanctioning bodies?

I thought NBA might have evolved into WBA but i could be wrong.

Thanks. So Ric, Would it be fair to say that the WBA has the best pedigree in terms of length of service in this area? I'm not saying the best just the oldest?
