If Lloyds hands are good I could see him having too much heat and stopping Stacey late after a tough fight. But do you agree????

Interesting match.... at their peaks there was probably little between them, although very different styles. I'd lean towards Honeyghan slightly becuase I think he was that bit tougher and could take what JH could dish out. But a close one to call....J

This would be a great fight, but I'd lean towards Honeyghan who at his best was faster and stronger.... Honey by ko in about 8 rounds.....

I've been sat at work today giving this match some further thought, (well it beats thinking about work!!)

Now Stracey could at times be a slow starter, Napoles had him down, hurt and in trouble in the first round of their title fight, but was unable to finish the job, mainly in my opinion due to age.

Now Honeyghan was at times a very fast starter and when his hands were not troubling him could hit very hard, so I was thinking who here thinks it is not beyond the bounds of reality to suggest that Lloyd my just have stopped Stracey early?

Just a thought.

Honeygan is probably my favourite UK fighter. I saw him beating Curry and I still think it is one of, if not THE the outstanding performances by a UK boxer abroad.

But, I think time has dimmed what an accomplished fighter JHS was and I lean towards him to be equally as tough and perhaps a little more slick than LH.

No stoppage in this fight, but perhaps JH by a UD.

I've got quite a few Stracey fights and while I've got a lot of respect for him and he was a very good fighter I think Honey at his peak without the handtrouble would just be too fast and mobile for John. Honeyghan was a very good bodypuncher and Stracey seemed a bit vulnerble to bodypunchers from what I've seen.
