Looking at the predictions for BBN - its seems there are lots of fights containing live dogs.

Sheika vs Beyer is a fight that is definately intriguing. Sheika doesn't deserve this chance (especially considering the guy who has recently beaten him twice has failed to secure a title fight). However, in Beyer he is facing an aging fighter who has looked very lucky in recent fights. I did expect Green to beat him last time,and for my money he did (although a lot closer than I thought). He was getting outboxed by Sarnavia who himself recently lost to the limited Haussler. Further back he was also lucky vs Lucas and has looked increasingly vulnerable.

Whilst Sheika is no great shakes, he has the power to KO Beyer and looked very good in the Lacy fight. I think he can catch Beyer, and if he lands flush then he could win this one. It will go a few rounds and I do wonder if the 12th round problem could strike again for Beyer.

A couple of decent Cruiserweight match ups aswell, Kelvin Davis is a recent world champion who looked very good in beating Ezra Sellers but then lost to Guilermo Jones in bad fashion. He will start as the underdog vs Steve Cunnigham who is coming off a couple of good wins on paper vs Rothmann and Jones himself. However, he was very lucky to get the Jones decision and it will be interesting to see how Davis comes back after his setback. This is a good fight and whilst I think Cunnigham is a deserving favourite - not a forgone conclusion.

Also a cruiserweight is Wayne Braithwaite's return vs Jones. I think Braithwaite will be the favourite but was awful vs Mormeck who thoroughly exposed his limitations. Jones has returned to the world title scene with his win over Davis and has been quite active recently following a long spell of inactivity. I think Jones can win this one as he could very well be the best non-title holder around.

Jon Thaxton has his toughest comback assignement to date vs Roman, a much harder ask than Bognar. Got to favour Thaxton but it might help us answer a few questions on where he will go in his comeback.

Urkal though shouldn't have any problems with Nesterenko.

yeah beyer-sheika is very interesting. if sheika wants to back up his mouth he has too really go for this or he'll be outslicked. i think beyer is average and there for the taking, but everyone keeps messing up against him.

guillermo jones was the one that came over here and got robbed against nelson wasn't he. sadly it wouldn't have made a difference cos he tested positive for a banned substance. :x

has jones really got the sort of style to expose braithwaite's limitations though. from what i remember of him he was a come forward type. i fancy braithwaite on pts there.

Stu i also thought Green won, Steve Holdsworth thought Beyer won and when i posted on an Aussie forum i thought Green had won they even said i was crazy, glad to see i am not alone here.

Yes the Sheika v Beyer is a case of what ifs and Sheika is well capable of pulling a stoppage off, but Beyer in Germany will be favoured, but Sheika despite his recent record now fights a little more sensible and the more I think about it the more I favour him.

Davis losing to Jones was after a long lay-off and lets be honest his style will always leave him a little susceptable to a counter,a short type like him needs to be sharp to be effective so now he may just be a little better,but then again he didn`t get many rounds in last time ...and how will his confidence be? Jones whilst making welter in his early fights has done excellent to compete on an even footing with these big guys and Cunningham whilst a sparring partner for awhile will have benefitted for the experience and he is young enough not to have developed the `sparing partner syndrome`, his chin looks OK so far but beside a tired Rothman he hasn`t faced anything of a puncher so far....so who knows

Braithwaite I expect to be too much of a real cruiser for Jones, Guillermo`s luck I feel will run out this time, Braithwaite made a big mistake last time at the scales and will be all there this time.

Urkal is on the wind-down so accepts this safely.
And Thaxton having wasted time on the pay-out should be safe enough also, just don`t see this is anything like a dangerous match-up.
