Klitschko vs Peter will sky show it?

Does anyone have any idea if sky will show this fight. I think they would be mad not to as its the most exciting heavyweight match out there and has created a lot of interest. Also i hope sky show vitali against rahman, but theres no way they could sell that as a pay per view.

Great fight. I've changed my mind about this one a few times - but I'm starting to think Wlad might give the Nigerian Nightmare a nasty wake up call. That's a long jab Peter has to get past.....

Sky should show this, but no sign so far.

It'll be on free German TV - ZDF or ARD. Plus RAI Italy will probably screen it, as their boy is facing Cotto on undercard I think. All on digital Hotbird BTW.

Sky tend to show Cotto fights.I would think so they have not put the full line up of fights on yet. As Jamie Moore match is not on schedule.

Those other channels are only on sky digital why not on cable.

Both fights will be on ARD. Usually they show the whole card from Midnight on.

I have Sky but i have been thinking of getting a satellite system that shows the european channels.
Apart from German boxing, what other boxing is shown and what box should i get? what kind of price should i pay for the box & installation?

You just need a standard digital receiver, in fact you could use your Sky box, with a cable splitter plugged into back.
Dish has to be about 60-80cm, and pointing just right of where your Sky dish points - picking up Hotbird. It's mainly German ARD and ZDF who show the fights, plus Italian RAI too. There's loads of free channels, changing all the time.

It's pretty easy to install yourself, otherwise I guess you're looking at around £200 all in to get a local satellite specialist to do it for you.

Don't think so.

Anyone recommend best broadband deal to go for? What would I need to watch fights on my PC - 1Mb / 2Mb??

DSF has shown many cards this year. they usually show all cards of SES Boxing, the third biggest promoter in Germany (Stieglitz, Malik D., Schulze, Monse, Ragosina)

So once receiver and dish are fitted do you then enter the frequency to receive the appropriate channel ?

wlaf is gonna bash peter up.

I predict a one sided execution with peter hitting the deck two or three times.

I am also starting to come round to that way of thinking, at first i predicted a blowout by the hard punching Peter but it seems that Klitschko will use his extra skills to dominate Peter and do the blasting out. The only thing is Wlad's stamina, can he last the pace?

Yep - got to set up, then "other channels" on your Sky remote - enter the channel frequencies and bobs your uncle :TU:

i fancy sky will do the biz and show it. :box:

they've shown every cotto fight for the last 2 yrs and with ricky hatton staying on sky, allegedly. :D

i think peter will club klitschko out of there within 5 rds. wladimir is hopeless against punchers.

Fingers crossed we get to see it. Good preview in BM this month.

How good is Peter? We all know about Wlad but Peter is untested at this level (matched well but this is a big step up) and I'd like to know who the bookies have as favourite. Wlad has the boxing ability and size to give Peter's fits but unless Wlad has sorted out his workrate he could be in trouble. Manny has to tell him he doesn't have to throw 1000 punches in the first 3 rounds!!!

Shame they not got Jones v Tarver listed. Or morales next fights.

Fair enough if they pass on the Morales bill, because Arum has put together a money making sparring session for Eric and PacMan, instead of the rematch everyone wants to see.
Can't see the point really - it's not like it needs any further build up.

Mightywarrior, I've sent you a private message. I can't discuss it on the public forums but all the info is in that private message.
