In Ring Dec 1973, it reports this Medford L/Heavy was shot dead in a gangland killing.
The George Holden on boxrec fought until 1978............
Can anyone explain please?

Good eye, Phil! There was another Holden-heavy that fought out of Orlando FL. at the same time. They were both territorial and I had the records of both until '70. Added another 20 bouts to FL. George. The Tusca, Alaska venue turns out to be Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

You're being most helpful. I'm trying to tie up loose ends and bits & bobs for my records of "70s" Heavies.
