Does anybody think that Baz Carey has anything other then a punchers chance against Amir Khan tomorrow? Does Amir Khan start as favourite, dispite his inexperience? Would Fr ank W arren have picked him if he thought he had any chance of winning?

Carey has basically no chance atall. I think Khan should be put in with better quality opposition sooner rather than later. I know how young he is and this is only his second paid outing, but if your good enough your old enough and the standard of amateur fighters he was meeting has prepared him enough to make the step up in pro competition quickly in my opinion. These type of guys arent fit to lace Kindelans boots and Khan will learn nothing from these fights, but he could get complacent and too comfortable. Im not suggesting dropping him straight in at the deep end but i want to see a progression in the standard of his opposition quickly. Each fight he should step it up slightly. I just hope Warren doesnt wrap him up in cotton wool for ages as this will not help him in the long run. Amir is for all his talent a work in progress and i think he needs decent learning fights and not a procession of bums to knock over.

cant see baz carey getting anywere near khan. khan is an awesome talent and a good natrual weight above carey. baz did look in fantastic shape at the weigh in and is strong but i believe khans speed and power will wrap the fight up inside a couple of rounds and become only the second fighter to stop baz carey.
