When will a new season of Boxing predictions start? I went on holiday and missed 2 weeks and haven't predicted since, and was enjoying it before I lost track. So yeah, is a new one starting any time soon? How many rounds are there in a season?

I was coming 5th, then missed 8 weeks of predictions, and now i'm down in the forties. Is it worth me carrying on, or have i got no chance of catching up?

Two more weeks left in this one and then I will start a new one depending on if any maintenance needs to be done on teh site or not.
Was thinking about calling it quits but it's still one of the most popular predictions leagues around so will carry it on.

I am thinking of some different features next time so if you miss a week you don't get penalised so badly, but still thinking of how.
Also maybe groups for the cup so you don't just go out in round one

Wins, or at least points, as a % is the only way I could see helping those who miss weeks.
So currently, you might have 1st) A with 20 from 25 correct. 100 points
2nd) B with 19 from 20 correct. 96 points.
Obviously B looks to be better at this malarky than B, but because he missed a weeks, he's been a bit shafted

Yes but someone could do well and then deliberately miss weeks so need to build something in

Works just fine as it is
If somebody misses a week or two there is still the cup to enter.
Brilliant job though
But finally moved a position this week...sadly it was down

I only predicted the easy ones first glance last week, left the others till I had time to consider them, but unfortunately missed the deadling. Thankfully Wladimir Virchis won by KO 1, and between him and alot of other wins, I clocked up an extra 50pts for fights I did not predict.

The semi-finals of the cup competition saw bdeskins beat barryboy 62-35 and AlexY2K5 beat Zombiequeen 55-50
So it's England vs USA in the final.
Looks like Steve689 has done enough to win the league, just six fights to predict in the last round

Out of interest how long has the league been running?
And who are the past winners?
Steve does look good to win it ...but ...you never know....

If i succeed then being the BPL champion will be an honour to hold such an esteemed title but it is still all to play for as i have notoriously bad stamina and could fade late on

Everyone hear that??? Listen carefully!
Its the sound of me choking! I managed to drop from 2nd place (8 points back) to 6th place (48 points back) in just 2 weeks. Horrible! lol.
Good luck Steve!

Well, i'm finally in the top 3 now and in the final of the cup.
Good luck to everyone in this final week. I guess i'm pretty much not going to win the league, but i'm only 3 points behind 2nd, and if I win the cup too, that will be sweet. So hopefully i'll be cup winner and runner up in the league.
England Vs USA, this guy's recent form has been quite impressive I must say!
