Chesterfields Gavin Down has stepped up to challenge Glossop based Namibian Ali Nuumbembe.

Down had no hesitation of taking the fight after other opponents refused to fight Ali and he is confident that he will beat him when they clash on the Jamie Moore v David Walker undercard in Manchester.

The fight is over 6 x 3 minutes and could be one of the fights of the night as both fighters will be desperate for a win.

The fight could be shown on Sky Tv and if you get the chance make sure to watch this one as it will be all action from the first bell. :box: :TU:

This will be a good fight, Nuumbembe is a good fighter and Down will give it his all that is for sure. I pick Nuumbembe on points because of the short distance they are fighting over.

Yeah, should be plenty of action. You must just be glad you finally got an opponent, Chado.

Not a bad fight at all. Down's fire does seem to be diminishing though judging by his last couple of defeats. He always came out like a man possessed, and Ali is starting to make his move. Has to be Nuumembe.

Yeah, big respect to Gavin.

Atleast one British Welterweight is showing he has balls

This is a 50 / 50 fight and should be a right tear up.

IMO Ali has to be heavily favored

Yeah i think Ali is the favourite and this is not a 50/50 contest, Down is a bit worn out by now and Ali could even stop him.
