I think Magee will know too much for Cannon, but if Tommy's fit and focussed he might be able to last the distance and rattle Brian's cage a couple times. If Magee is on form I think he'll stop him in about 3 or 4.

Looks to me like Maggee wants a few easy wins to restor credibility. Hopefully he will go in against Froch in a couple of fights down the line that would be a good fight.

In my mind Magee is still unbeaten. In the Reid fight I had him a point ahead despite all the knockdowns because Reid only won rounds where a knockdown was scored and he was robbed against Tsypko. He's one of those fighters that definitely can't trust the scorecard on big fights. Maybe he can still get himself a fight with Calzaghe down the road since the Lacy one seems to be down the tubes.

In my mind, your mind must be a strange place. He was unlucky against Tsypko for sure, but an over the hill Reid beat him quite comfortably. A fighter who is knocked down four times (unless it's in one or maybe two rounds) is rarely going to get even a share.

And going back before the Reid bout, I thought Magee was fortunate to come away with a win against Chris Nembard.

Four knockdowns represents 8 points, whichever way you split it. Very difficult to overcome that unless you get knockdowns yourself.
