Very interesting fight this weekend unbeaten puncher Samuel Peters v Wladimir Klitschko.

Wladimir Klitschko was supposed to be the future of the heavy division until he ran into Corrie Sanders , losing his WBO title by 2nd round KO.
Before that he had some good wins over Byrd, McCline, Mercer, Barrett and a host of other fringe contenders. There is now big question marks over his chin though, he has been stopped by Sanders, Brewster and an early loss to Ross Purity. So will he hold up to Peters Power.

Samuel Peters is IMO still a work in progress, he can be a bit of a plodder but he does have one punch power, and when he gets someone hurt he usually finishes them. If he can get past Klitschko's jab and wear him down then i can see Peters getting the job done inside 7 rounds.
Of course not alot is known about Peters ability to take a punch from a big Heavy, so it might be interesting in the first couple of rounds.

My prediction for this one is for Wladimir Klitschko to redeem himself and stop a tired Peters in 8 rounds.

Klitschko, not sure whether by points or by stoppage but Peter's crap as far as I'm concerned, his big wild punch has ko'd a few bottom tier fighters and wet the Doodles crotches but I can't see him getting past a bigger, quicker, more skillful man.

Just out of curiousity, how come so many people are calling him 'Peters' with the s, rather than his actual name, which is 'Peter'? It's bugging me.

i stand corrected. i think its probaly because alot of people do end there name with a "s" , just forgot when posting my thread.

If Wladis chin couldn´t stand the power punches he would lose in the early rounds. Otherwise he would easily win later by KO because of the better fitness. Everything could happen.

As long as he doesn't take too many shots because if he takes a hard enough shot, he'll fold again.

Really good match because I don't think anyone can pick a winner with any confidence. How good is Peter's chin? Has Klitschko got stamina problems or will he be able to outbox Peter? Will Peter beat Wlad before they even get in the ring?

I'd like to see Wlad win as I think he is still the most talented guy in the heavyweight division whereas Peter is more of a David Tua, the one who lost to Byrd that is not the one who almost beat Ike.

Anyway i'm going for Wlad to school Peter & teach him a boxing lesson for a late Ko or points decision

Other way around I think, his brother is called Eubank, and Chris' name is listed as Eubank on boxrec as well. I remember reading something about it somewhere, might have been Chris' book.

My Prediction is for Vladimir to hammer Peter from pillar to post until he tires and then Samuel takes him out with some hefty power punches.

Peter will absolutely massacre Kilitschko within 4 rounds.

The first time I saw Peter I thought woopie dooh. Ray Mercer without the jab or workrate.

Has he improved that much since? I'm thinking he'll have a heck of a start, maybe so much that Vlad gets taken out before he even gets warmed up. But I'm starting to expect Vlad to get over the first couple of rounds and beat Peter up after that. It's a fascinating clash.

I'm going for Wlad to fight a cautious fight, boxing from range, and breaking Peters down. Klitschko by late KO

I hope someone KO's Dino Duva before the nights over. Anyone else find him terribly annoying.

Bookies have Peter down to win this. I've put some cash on Wlad to win, just go the feeling Sam might be a little overrated...we'll see.

Wlad to keep Peter on the end of the jab, dropping the right hand on him till he stops a bemused Sam mid way.
