Seems like Walker vs Moore, Peter vs Klitchsko and to a lesser extent Duran vs McNeil have been discussed extensively here. However, what about the other intriguing contests.

Is Ricardo Torres another Kelson Pinto (inflated record) or can he really be something special. He has a huge task versus future great, Miguel Cotto, and he has come in as a late sub. However, 26 stoppage in an undefeated 28 fight career. He is also a big is Light Welter with most of his fights at the weight or slightly above. This doesn't look an easy subsitute fighter. Got to go for Cotto, but this fight could be hugely exciting. How Cotto is only ranked 13 by boxrec is beyond me.

Also, chief support (and I hope we get it) to the Moore vs Walker bill is Mihaly Kotai 1st defence of his IBO Light Middle belt vs former WBO Welterweight challenger, Sebastian Lugan. This could be very very tasty, Lugan looked okay vs Margarito and is tough as old boots. Kotai has looked good at the British domestic level beating guys like Derek Roache, Darren Rhodes on his way to a number of minor world titles. I think Lugan though might be the favourite.

Whilst Kotai vs Lugan has "cracker" written all over it, it might not eclipse the main event. However, Cotto vs Torres might - two big punchers, two young fighters.

BTW, The IBO Light Middle belt was prior to Kotai the possession of the underated Sergio Martinez. According to here, Martinez vacated to fight for the WBC Latino Title earlier this year (Martinez won). So hopefully, we will see rise up the WBC rankings (title currently vacant). He is currently ranked #10 I believe.

Only fully appreciated this Kotai match-up when it came up on boxing predictions. A very tough one to call. I think I did side with Lujan in the end, off the back of his Margatio performance. All credit to Kotai for taking this fight tho. Maybe it's the IBO's top 35 policy that's made him do it, but the majority of trinket holders (who shall remain nameless) are just given hand-picked fodder.
