JAMIE MOORE - Stopped David Walker in 4 rounds to retain his British crown and looked very impressive in doing so. Will now have a short rest and then straight back in the Gym for a fight early December , not sure what for as yet but we have promised him a step up from British level as we agree that he is ready to move on.
JOHN MURRAY - A good third round stoppage against a good operator from Russia was just what the doctor ordered for Murray after his points win in the USA. John again impressed the Sky people and we expect to keep him busy over the coming months as we push for some sort of title.
ALI NUMEMBEE - Also came out with a 3rd round stoppage win over the durable Gavin Down. Ali was dominant from the first bell and the way he handled this one shows that he is ready for a step up.
MARK THOMPSON - A winning debut meant it was 4 out of 4 winners for the VIP boxers. Mark won on points and did very well considering that he was badly cut in the 2nd due to a clash of heads. His opponent kept using his head and it was disappointing that the referee never warned or deducted points of Harvey, it was as blatant as I have ever seen.
JOHN BOY MARSHALL - Missed out on a fight on Friday due to the much reported accident with the dog. However, we managed to strike a deal for John to fight Michael Lomax on the 21t October at York Hall on the undercard of Lynes v Jnr Witter. It is a step up for John , but one we are sure he is capable of making.
