Former top amateur Scott Gammer has made steady progress beating Krence, Baker, and Steeds. He can bang and even though he's a little small for todays world heavies I think he can clean up on the British title WHEN Matt Skelton moves on (up) .

Ceratinly agree with you. Best of the rest after the big four, and should have a definite claim to the Btitish title if and when Skelton vacates. Perhaps even a surprise scalp of Skelton, Williams or Sprott if either of these three severely lose it within the next year or two

I am also assuming Sprott is going to stay at european level...he's been the most inform british heavy of recent yrs. I expect sprott to do well against Italy's Paulo Vidoz when they meet for the european crown.

I think Gammer could possibly beat Skelton, he is no great shakes. Gammer is certainly more skilled, whether he can tough it out with Skelton remains to be seen.

Gammers stoppage of a fit Krence was more impressive than Skeltons win. And by the way i love Krence...he gives his all and the only thing that holds him back is fitness and a bit of a dig. Im amazed how people can say Krence is too small to hack it with the big boys----he's 6ft 5 and 220 lbs for gods sake...all it needs is a bit of conditioning.

Krence has stated that he could make cruiserweight, but prefers it at heavy because he gets better paydays. I think his lack of strength will tell when trying to mix it with the higher level boys.

Should be getting my tickets today, mate of mine is picking them up. Apparently, still loads left for grabs.

Won the WABA's at Heavyweight/Super Heavyweight a few times. Tended to lose when he faced Kevin Evans, so often they would fight at different weights.

Not sure what he did in the home nations finals, but I would say there couldn't have been many from England/Scotland and Ireland to beat him. I would like to have seen Gammar take on Audley in the Amateur code had Harrison stuck around.

Certainly more well known than Darren Morgan.

How is Morgan's career progressing? I remember his debut i think on a Macarinelli undercard (probably LaMontagne) when Morgan disposed of Ebrima Secka but lhe ooked a bit crude and wild.

3-0 now he clubbed Dave Clarke into a submission in Manchester and went four with Tony Booth last time out, but put Booth down a couple of times.

Looked better in his last one, but his size will always favour him against someone like Booth.

Gammer won the home nations at super-heavy shortly before turning pro.

But I can't remember who he beat there.
