Ok heres the topic: heavyweight title Fights that should have happened that didnt. Most of the all time greats failed to face a couple people they should have now lets see who would have won.

Joe Louis: should have fought tiger jack foxx and jimmy bivins (earlier)

Oooooh! I know Floyd is having a renaissance on the forum (and rightly so) but I think Williams KOs him between 6 and 10.

Not sure about Dempsey-Wills either. Their primes sort of miss one another. I tend to think that Wills would have beaten Dempsey in his prime years and Jack would have won in his prime years. Very tough fight to call. I read that Wills fought within himself to try and get a shot so he might just have been better than given credit for. Apologies, can't get off the fence.

i think dempsey ko's wills as well.his chin was not the best and would not withstand a dempsey barrage imo.

I really rate Williams. He was a great puncher and if Ingo could KO Floyd then he could too. I agree with BB that Floyd actually seemed a better fighter after he lost the title but I still think he gets KO'd
