Well he did stop counting and let him get to his feet. I thought he was going to call it a slip.

I thought he was just out of his depth at first, but yes, it soon approached Coggi vs Gonzalez 1 level bentness.

great finish from brewster, some doubted his win over wladimir. he is a true warrior.

Brewster may be one of those guys who is going to prove a lot better once he has a belt than before it, it's not uncommon, and he seems to carry some power late into the fight which is a good sign.

Was it another robin Reid job with the reff then. I get the feeling Brewster is a genuinly nice bloke and you have to wish him well.

It wasn't as bad as Reid. At least it was ruled a knockdown, and Brewster wasn't warned for hitting Krasniqi. Definite dodgy count though.

Agree that Brewster seems a top chap.

But then Brewster was supposedly lucky to get the decision over Kali Meehan when he won the belt. He's no savior. Thats a nice left hook.

He looked out of shape vs. Meehan and things might have been different if he'd trained and went in with the proper gameplan. That's all ifs and buts though.

He didn't look particularly fit versus Luan either, to be honest, though I was impressed with the way he started to get his jab going and close the range as the fight went on - Krasniqi looked to have good technical skills (can anyone point out highlights of his amateur record other than the Klits?).
