This WILL be a great fight.

Both fighters are tall, rangy, have good skills and a good punch plus solid chins (up to now the chorley lurcher hasn't really had his chin tested to the same degree as Pryce, but he hasn't signs of being chinny so far).

I feel however that there can only be one winner though - Jennings. Until the Jimmy Vincent fight, I thought that Michael was just another "Sky prospect", being fed the usual suspects (TBA, TBC etc). For the first half of the first round against Vincent I thought he looked like a rabbit in the headlights - but man did he turn that around!! The compsure and timing he displayed against his strong and marauding opponent was exceptional. He also showed that he knew how to finish his opponent effectively: gave himself the room to land the finishing punches.

I have a feeling Pryce may be a bit shop-worn, despite being the younger fighter. He has featured in many hard fought scraps. Some he has won (Jason Hall, Gavin Down), but some he has lost (Ted Bami, Neil Sinclair). He did beat the undefeated prospect Ivan Kirpa in a fight he was expected to lose however. Pryce is tough, strong, has a dig and is as gritty as they come.

But Jennings is the fighter on the up. Jennings to win by stoppage around the 7-8th rounds.

I only hope that this fight will be shown on ITV as it is sure to be one to remember.

Agreed that Pryce does blow hot and cold BUT if the hot Pryce turns up then I fancy him to take this one.

Kinda reminds me of Alex Arthur V Gomez this one, as I've said before.
Reckon if Brad is on form, he will take Jennings out around the 7th.
My mate trains at the Hughes Gym, and he assures me I'm full of shit, but this one is very winnable for Bradley, he just has to keep his composure!

I may go to watch this one if it aint on the box.

To be honest can't see anyone but Jennings winning this. Fair enough Pryce had a good win last time out, but IMO Jennings needs the win more if he's to push on to try and make an impression at European/real World level. I do agree that it has the makings of a really good fight though.

Yes, I agree this fight has the makings of a cracker and think that Price could possibly win providing he boxes cleverly and doesent get involved in a toe to toe punch up, A big if tho.....

Should be a good fight but I'm picking Jennings to win after having to come through a few tricky early rounds.

Jennings KO8.

A punch up would probably suit Pryce in this scrap.

I dont think a punch up with jennings would suit pryce, jennings work rate is really high and his power has come on in his last 15 fights or so, i also think his stamina is second to none in the country which pryce wont be able to match

Jennings should win this handily with his skills.

Did anyone read about the tragedy of his brother in the NOTW yesterday? - another example of the benfits of sport and the discipline they give over street life.

I'm really not decided on Michael Jennings yet... He KO'd Jimmy Vincent in the 1st round in his last fight, which I would have said was outstanding! (I thought Jimmy Vincent beat David Barnes easily), However going into this Jennings fight - Jimmy Vincent hadn't fought for over a year and a half and could have merely been there to take his pay cheque and make up the numbers.

I'm not sure what Bradley Pryce is about anymore? He's showed glimpses of brilliance in his career, but they are heavily out numbered by moments of weakness.

true vincent hadnt fought for along time but i dont think he was there to make the numbers up nobody can deny vincents grit and heart and i think if jennings would have let him then vincent would have been all over jennings like a rash like when he fought barnes, jennings just caught him and finished him

Jennings for me too. He's in great form. If anyone deserves a British title then it's pryce. Always gives his all and has boxed tough opposition.

Just reiterate the tv situation.....ITV2 Live 9pm Tuesday 25/10/2005

Jennings for me as well.

Looking at the Boxrec top 10 at Welterweight, there are some great fights out there (not just for Jennings).

Anderson, Jennings, Hare, Magee, Barnes, Doherty, Price, Young, Conway & McIntyre.

Plus a few others out there like Takaloo, Okine, Olusegun and Nuumbembe.
