The only times I saw Toney struggle in fights was when he had trouble making the weightlimit. Say he was OK for a fight with Calzaghe, I imagine Toney would outbox Calzaghe fairly easily. He was every bit as good fom the outside, and a superior infighter.
Toney UD12.

You are definitely British.

This is how the fight would go, Calzaghe would say he broke his ankle or something in the dressing room and wouldn't fight Toney but instead defend his title against Reggie Strickland.

Good one Grimm, not far off....Toney on form at his right weight of 12 stone would have destroyed Joe. Too much of everything, defense, power, speed, chin, stamina and great infighting ability. Calzaghe has stil to prove himself...Toney on form was something very special....

This is far too much of a fantasy matchup! Calzaghe vs a great fighter in his prime. Nope. Sorry, impossible to contemplate.

Not sure he'd outbox him easily though Calzaghe looked the faster fighter and faster on footwork.
