A Hundred Grand

I heard a rumour that Hobson and Waterman are paying David Haye £100k to face the Italian as that is what he was getting for the Hobson fight. Surely not, a £100k How much was Hobson going to get as the Champion?

If this is true, what a waste of money.

Carl Thompson and Mark Hobson take note.......Ever get thge feeling youv'e been done?

If that is true, that is fornicating ridiculous money for a totally unproven novice.

Yeah, you would have to say, Haye would be getting money for old rope. He's not exactly a superstar.

Maybe it was to save the bill I could imagine Haye having said he didn't want a tune-up fight in Hobson's backyard

incredible money for such a fight. Haye will lose AGAIN when he meets a stiff challenge. He has a lot of natural talent but he is not commited enough and does not have the desire to be the best , thats just my opinion.

I doubt very much that Haye is getting that kind of purse.

Maybe £50,000

I reckon Haye wins early....could be in a world of trouble if he doesn't.
He's probably spending more time in the hairdressers than the gym.

Then remind me not to go to his hairdresser. I agree that £100,000 seems a bit excessive though.

It's Hobson I feel for. He was probably only getting 25% of that. Crap Manager he must have.

Still, Sky must be going the route of the BBC by paying for this crap with OUR money!

I bet the BBBC are rubbing their hands too with their percentages of the purse and TV money.

Sky have paid much more for British based shite for several years.

Yes, Hatton getting £705,000 to fight Vilches springs to mind. Although a lot of that was no doubt gate money.

"A Hundred Grand" would be a good name for a film.

Please don't give Guy Ritchie any more ideas for Cockney bad-boy films. Please.

I heard a ruymour that Haye was getting paid with a 75-acre Christmas Tree farm in Norway while Hobson was only getting his weight in dried figs.

If this is true I think it's disgraceful

I didnt know guys of this level are on that kinda pay. That cant be right?

Can someone break down how figures of 50 to 100K come from in these small hall fights that Haye and the others take part in?
