Weight for it...

Given the carry on about Castillo's weight at the weekend it got me thinking about some of the most spectacular failures in title-fight history. I remember Anchondo being about 4lbs over for his fight with Barrios. Can anyone think of worse examples...

I think this brings into play the whole issue of weight which at the moment is making a mockery of the sport, fighters are contesting titles at various weights when one or in some cases both men are weighing on fight night weights above. It's a farce. Now guys aren't even making the weights required, all this "boiling down" can't be doing their bodies any good in the mean time.

There were a female fighter a couple of weeks back that weighed way above the contract limit, but I cant remember her name. The fight was at 147, she thorught she weighed around 155 (But couldnt answer how she would lose that amount before the weigh in) but infact she weighed around 185.
