Martin "too much" power is fighting ian napa on november the 4th..

any predictions or views on this fight.. i think this will be a good fight too watch.. ian napa has all the skills and is a excellent and clever fights.. martin power i would say wil be the strongest but ian napa is the skilfulest

what does people think on this fight??

Not sure how Napa warrants a shot, remember Callaghan "beat" him. However, its a good fight. Napa has the ability to make anyone domestically look silly but I think Power's superior strength and stamina will tell in the end and I see a close but clear points win.

I agree, Power too strong with points or a possible late stoppage.

Has anybody seen Craig Watson, (Khan's amateur nemesis) who is on the undercard of this. Is there any chance his fight will be shown in the broadcast?

Well Power vs Napa turned out to be quite the brawl. Pretty close fight as we speak and Power was almost out in the 9th...

Poor Napa, I thought he won it tonight - like Watt though, don't want to complain about the decision - shows though that three judges rule is working - imagine the outrage is it was just Ian John Lewis judging it would be on paper a pretty clear Power win.

Got to feel for Napa, this was close, I thought he edged it - but he was shafted vs Callaghan. He sounded positive in the interview, I hope he is - I hope boxing doesn't lose him for a period again. He proved his stamina tonight, and still looks like he can make fly easy.

I also thought he won. But all the rounds except the 9th when Napa landed some serious bombs, could have gone either way.

Great fight, Napa has a fantastic shoulder rolling defense, I certainly prefered Napas work BUT the rounds were very hard to score. Napa just didn't do enough to win in Powells home town - Powell was clearly the fans favourate and hence the money maker, Powell threw allot more punches (didnt land them). Powell isn't too good though - Napa was so much smaller - a natural flyweight - he should drop back down - maybe he can do some damage at Fly.

BRONCANO I went to Lima a few times and couldnt find any boxing on TV how'd you see this fight over there? Or are you a British Peruvian?

Desperately close fight, yet another example of how much better SKY's coverage is now they show real title fights. I do feel for Napa though, I felt he did just enough.

First time I've seen Sam Webb as well, and after that I can understand why he's been considered one to watch. Very impressive for a second fight, no matter what the opposition was.

great fight, power showed a lot of heart to suck it up when he looked all over the place in the 9th and he came swinging back.
fights like these bring a lot of credability back to the british titles. i had napa winning that fight though.

Napa shaded this for me. Love watching him. That rolling defence is not unlike James Toney's. Hope he sticks at it. Talent to burn. If he could punch we are talking about a world class fighter. Great fight though and Power was always in it. Tough to score so it comes down to what you like in a boxer I suppose.

I too felt Napa edged it.

Another excellent British tussle , could have gone either way and like the Hunter -Pickering clash last week I'd love to see this one go again.

My view was Napa was just ahead but it was a hard contest to score - As soon as I heard it was a split decision I thought Power would get it, and he did -Tough on Napa who worked with such skill throughout, what more could he have done- Napa took the judges decision very well I thought - A draw would have been a fair result because the fight was so close, but its how the points add up - I think had Napa been a puncher he would have finished Power off and walked away with the belt - Will he be given another chance? not if Power can help it!!

Had it 115-113 to Napa. If only he could punch

Power lost by a couple to both Napa and Robinson but says he has nothing to prove by fighting either one again.....well except maybe that you did win and therefore are the best at bantam.

His shoulder roll reminded me of a Midget Mayweather, its not just his punch that lets him down but his workrate too.

Felt vindication watching this performance by Napa. Similar in a way to when Corrales stopped Castillo in their first fight.

Power will meet David Guerault for the vacant EU belt on december 3rd in Dombasle.
