Secondsout have confirmed that Hatton vs Maussa will be available on PPV in the US - for a cheap (for them) $20.00. I wonder what does this mean about the timing situation. Will this now be shown at 2 am over here?

Does anyone know if any foreign bills will be part of the PPV - we have been told that Nelson vs Cantatore will be on ITV on the same day, but what of the PPV.

Sturm vs Masoe on the same night or Kelly vs Darchinyan the night before would be a good appetiser.

Not much at all happening stateside on this weekend.

The IBF/WBA light-welterweight unification bout between world champions Ricky Hatton and Carlos Maussa along with the undercard matches from the Hallam FM Arena in Sheffield, England, will be broadcast live on Saturday, November 26th at 4:00 pm et on Pay Per View. The broadcast will be available for a suggested retail price of $19.95 in over 50 Million Pay Per View homes via cable systems from iN Demand & TVN and from satellite providers DirecTV & Dish Network.

Theyre showing it at 4pm so unlikely to change the time over here.

That's a result; won't have to stay up until the early hours as I had been expecting to have to.

The US does deliver some right crap as pay per view but lets not kid ourselves into thinking this fight is at all worthy of it. Especially to American fans.

Dress Maussa up as a dangerous puncher and the fight as a unification all you want but it's still a mismatch

Don't worry i don't think it's worthy either. The undercard needs beefing up lots.

The fight is only $20 in the US compared to the usual $50, so it might get decent figures.

The whole thing that i feel about this fight is that why am i going to see a fight like this we all know tha mussa is a bum and that he won the title by luck and for hatton it should be a ckae walk the only way im goin to pay to see this boy call ricky hatton is if he fight Cotto of Pbf

I don't understand this logic that American fight fans wouldn't pay to see Hatton. Why because he's a Brit? It's part of this American ignorance that boxing exists outside the states. And I'm an American saying this. British boxing is every bit as good as some of the stuff we get over here in the states and Hatton is one of the few fighters that I'd pay to see everytime. I'm glad to see this fight is gonna be on American PPV. Saves me the trouble of getting one of my buddies to ship a tape transatlantic. And for only 20 bucks? Great deal.

Dude, I think the point is more you guys wont (or shouldn't) want to shell out hard earned cash to watch Hatton batter a bum!!

Being a boxing fan isn't always the most intelligent activity now is it. I'm a fan of the game and I'm one of the minority of US fight fans that ranks Hatton as the top dog at 140 and not PBF. I'd either shell out 20 bucks to watch it home or have to put one of my friends in Britain through the trouble of taping it and shipping it over here. So it's really six of one, half a dozen of the other.
