Ok Boxrec members, time to own up. What Boxing memoribilia and Boxing related objects do you have on show around your home?

Does your home reflect in anyway your love for the sport of Boxing?

Be honest, if you have a huge Joe Calzaghe poster above your bed tell us, be proud of who you are.

In my spare bedroom/office area I have the following...

A few signed gloves. (Conteh, Audley, Calzaghe, Tyson, Bruno, Skelton-Mitchell-Ray Oliveira. A few posters, TYson/Lewis, Eubank etc.

Also a couple of book cases full of Record Books and a cupboard full of Boxing News.

I don't have any really, just a few books.

When I lived at home with my parents my bedroom was covered, almost floor to celing with boxing posters, you know the ones KO magazine had in the middle and the special ones they did for a big fight?

Can you imagine the look on the face of the first few girls I took up to my bedroom, with Hearns, Tyson, Hagler et al staring back at them!

I put most of these posters up in my mid-teens and they stayed there until I was 20/21. I went away for a couple of weeks and when I came back my mother had taken the lot down, she didn't think it was setting the right tone for my newest girlfriend, who I did end up marrying so it must have been a postive thing.

Not much, but I've got two decent one of a kind orginal photos I picked up at flea markets in Belgium -

Jack Dempsey posing with Rudolf Valentino and Robert Florey ( film director ) and a young kid ( must be the son of whoever took the photo I'd guess ) on Crystal Pier CA - 1921.

And a signed Ray Robinson shot, sitting in a Belgium restaurant on his Euro tour.

Plus an original Sanchez/Gomez on site poster

WELL ALL I HAVE ARE SIGNED PHOTOS AND A GLOVE OF MY FAVE BOXER OF ALL TIME-KEN BUCHANAN AND THE USUAL FEW YEARS WORTH OF MAGS.

I have vids, dvd's, gloves, headguards, signed pics all over the bloody place What a mess

Just the usual fight vids, I don`t go in for the signed memorabilia, the only real guaranteed authentic signed stuff are going to be quite recent boxers because its all too easy to get conned into buying a signed Robinson or signed Joe Louis signature.

So just the fight films and book case full of 1st edition boxing titles...and a garage full of Boxing News, Ring magazines and various other boxing magazines....and the heavy-bag gathering dust

Ahh don't say that i just purchased a Willie Pep autograph off Ebay

I got loads of old fight tapes following lewis, tyson holyfield, eubank etc Few dvds. lots of gloves, floor to ceiling ball, speedball, bag, old weights, posters, and a few books.

A friend of mine who is into this type of thing pointed out that Mike Tysons autograph he gave in 1985 is so different to the one he`d give in 1995, and this would be true of Ali in 64 to 2004...see what I`m trying to say

I have quite a few 1st edition books signed in the authors name( Willie Pep is one of those) but who can say for sure if it is 100% genuine

If I had a photo taken beside a favourite boxer and he was good enough to sign the photo after then I would cherish that photo because there would be a memory of the time I was lucky enough to meet that person.

I do not like how people are selling their autographs now, some are said to ask for money before they put their signature down for you...what type of memory of the person will that leave.....

If you get the scribble yourself, then all good...

Just some magazines or Boxing Monthly and the ring and some old Books I bought from Oxfam. Ones a pictorial History of the sport and ones about Champions and the authors favourite title and unification fights.

Wouldn't mind a Calzaghe poster. :P

Don't have very much myself, some books, magazines, a picture of Chris Eubank, gloves, dvds.

Oh, and of course, I've got a poster of Joe Calzaghe with his hand in a cast, and his cast is signed by Sven Ottke

Steve, I heard somewhere a few years ago that Pep has always been very free giving out signed pictures of himself, and has done for many years, so there may be hundreds of genuine ones out there. Same with Ali actually.

I have a 21st birthday card off Ricky Hatton. My mum phoned his gym when he was in training for the Vilches fight to arrange it

I won an Audley Harrison signed t shirt in a Liverpool Echo competition when he was scheduled to fight here in 2001 but pulled out for some reason, Robin Reid topped against Soon Botes instead. Me and my mate seen Audley at the fight he looked right at us, we waved, he blanked us. :x

I've got vids and the trophies I "won" on a shelf (cause some fights I lost but still got a trophy) and Magazines all over place.

Have a picture of Muhammad Ali with the Beatles, plus an ancient picture of a prime Bulldog Bill Garnon (old style proffesional wrestler - when it was a bit more geniune) who is my grans first cousin.

Have what I think is a very rare Beatles poster, from the Radio times in 1964 - I would like to get it valued.

I have the Griffin 'boxing greats' picture, the photo of Ali standing over Liston and the photo of Cooper knocking down Clay .

I also have a George Forman grill .

Ali-Liston 2 signed framed picture (Ali taunting Liston as he is down on the canvas) - Not an original but a bloody good copy from e-Bay.

Clinton Woods - Julio Gonzales poster - Got one of me mates to pinch it off a wall in a pub (i woz to scared to pinch it me sen :x)

4 boxing tickets:-

Hatton - Pinto or pederson whoever he faced in the end (i actually had Hatton to sign the ticket but a gave it away to a mate who had been watching Hatton longer than i had) - Well looking back at that situation i fucked up there

Woods - Johnson 2
Woods - Hoye
Woods - Gonzalez

& aftter 26th November i'll have a Hatton-Maussa ticket (i may be able to get that ticket signed again by Hatton cos i have a strong feeling that i'm back to the after fight party, so lets hope i dont fornicate up again & give the ticket away )
