Johnny Nelsons big fight demand.

Johnny Nelson last night vowed he's not running scared of Swansea sensation Enzo Maccarinelli.
But the veteran WBO cruiserweight king has told promoter allegedly in no uncertain terms that he'll only box new kid on the block Big Macc for a £150,000 pay-day.
I would love to see this fight but am still not convinced it will ever happen.

Can't really blame him for holding out for big paydays in his last few fights. Hope it doesnt scupper the chance of a Nelson-Maccarinelli fight mind.

I to don't blame him but there is also the fact of how long can Nelson wait? Before age and inactivity take there toll?

I have the same inactivity worry for De La Hoya , how can he hope to be as great as he was with long spells of inactivity. Nelson to give him credit stays in the gym so should still be quite sharp but as you say its a matter of when father time catches up with him.

If Enzo beat Nelson i'd prefer him to dump the WBO shit
(pardon my language) & fight for the big 3 belts, same goes for Haye.
