Over 15 rounds at Light-Heavyweight if Bob Foster and Dwight Qawi could have fought each other in their respective primes who would have won?

Would Foster have too much power, reach and height? Or would The Camden Buzzsaw dip, slip and rip Foster to the body and head and wear the taller fighter down?

Who wins this one fight fans?

As much as I like Qawi, I think Foster has too much single punch power and reach advantage to allow Qawi to get inside and work the body. Forced to box from the outside against a guy 8 inches taller who can hit, Qawi loses the decision by something like 146-141 without any knockdowns.

Difficult fight to pick imo. The Qawi who walked through Saad Muhammad was as rough and strong a light-hevyweight I ever saw, like a 175 lbs Tyson. It would have to be this version of Qawi, not that lackluster version who fought Spinks.

In a 15 round fight I would certainly pick Qawi to with the first half. Maybe after that Foster's power would take it's toll and he'd squeek out a decision. Maybe.
Either way you slice it, a relentless swarmer like peak Qawi is a bad style for Foster.

You have to take into account that Saad was far past his prime,and had been in far too many wars,by the time he fought Braxton.Sure Braxton looked good,but so did a lot of guys who ended up using Saad as a name stepping-stone after this fight.Braxton was good,I take nothing from him,but he couldn't beat Foster,and he don't even come close to being in the same class as a prime Saad.Had Saad been prime,or against a prime Foster,you would see that Braxton would do far less swarming,and against either, come out with the short straw,

If I remember corectly, Saad Muhaammad also had to lose some weight fast just before the 1st bout with Qawi.
