I've gone for a Harrison points win in the prediction league, although I'm not 100% convinced. Mostly because every time I try and predict a Harrison fight, it goes wrong: I thought he'd get rid of Medina easily the first time, I thought Abelyan would be a tough test..... you get the picture. I do think he'll he a bit too strong for Hussein though.

ITV (and Sky) show the fights at 10 because market research has shown that people are at their optimum mix of A: drunken aggression and B: sober viewing ability, at that time of a weekend, and are more likely to watch anyone fight, whether they're boxing fans or not.

Yes it is, I've just checked.

Should be a good tear up if Hussien puts his money where his mouth is a comes for a war with Harrison.

It's another typical Harrison fight though, he always has to have some big factor weighing heavily in his favour and "weighing" is the operative word again here.

Maloney's been bleating again about the lack of respect Scott gets, so do something about it and match him with a few world class FEATHERWEIGHTS at their PEAK and the respect will follow. Until he does this Harrison's respect will continue to be limited.

I have sky digital. Where is this ITV4 ?

Men and Motors changes to ITV4 at 2200. It's channel 136 if you have Sky. No idea what the crack is if you have cable.

I have a chipped NTL cable analogue box, if its on men and motors it will be on channel 19, but I dont think NTL has men and motors any more.

So looks like I'll have to use my brother freeview box, I just did a download to update new channels on the freeview and ITV4 has popped up :)

C'mon Harrison!!! That was a not bad profile by ITV. Scott on points, or late stopage maybe.....Hussein has class, but is he gonna back up the talk tonight? Know soon enough

I have a bad feeling about this but what the hell.......I'll go for 'The Real' in 10 in a good scrap. Afterall he is a fellow Glaswegian and a Celtic fan. I sort of have to.
It is a good matchup though thats for sure!!!

Well done Scot Harrison, I thought that was a good performance against a very difficult challenger. Dangerous puncher Hussein, with an good chin too - a pretty rare combination.
Scot was struggling late on, finding himself on the end of those long punches. I was a surprised by his dad's advice late on, after he'd been stunned in the previous round: keep punching down the middle..
If he miles in front, why not tell him to play for time a bit, box more and grab hold when he can? I seem to recall Scot was a skilled boxer back in the day.

Still, he got the job done.

Guzman? That's a 50/50 affair, and he'll be up against a genuine KO artist there - no surprise if SN decide to move him up, as they were just hinting - even though I'm sure Harrison would fancy the fight. I'd sure love to see that one.

I actually thought he missed Fenech in there. He needed a bit of motivation in there - his corner didn't seem to have much of a clue, giving mixed signals. Whilst they were geeing him up a little, they gave me the impression that they thought he was winning.

He needed someone to tell him to wake up a bit. He needed a few of Ronnie Davies' slaps.

The gay market...thats the future of boxing. The audience cheer when they clench and boo when they hit each other and you get points deducted for hitting with a clenched fist, wearing too bagy shorts and having a bad haircut.

There were Nigel Wright fans on one side and Scottish fans on the other - with the banter flowing thick and fast. Amir Khan fans, with big Union Jacks (with arabic written on them), were stuck in the middle. It got a bit nasty at one point as missiles began flying all over the shop. I don't know if they got caught up in it and that's why they left. Though I did also see a lot of people leaving in the last three rounds of the Harrison fight, when he was getting rocked and all sorts. Some 'fans'.
