According to Don King and Hasim Rahman on fightnews. Looks like the WBC will make if official, not only that but it Klitchsko could be frozen out of the picture.

If (and I now want him to win) Ruiz beat Valuev, Don has said his 4 champions will face off to find an undisputed champion.

Would that be the first time an undisputed champion will be disputed by most of the public.

unlike the ring i don't consider vitali heavyweight champion. but i certainly wouldn't consider the winner of this 4 title box off the heavyweight champ either.

I don't think anybody would dispute it if it happens. At this stage, even the Vitali fanclub have to accept that he doesn't deserve to be recognised as the champion if his only two fights in the past two years have been against Corrie Sanders and Danny Williams, disgraceful.

Vitali is the man to beat but he needs to be forced to step up his opposition, giving Rahman the title without having beaten him would be folly they will loose out on the money for what should be a big fight if nothing else

So what happens now then? Does Rahman get the title by default or does he have to box off for it? Does Vitali become Number One contender? Will Vitali have to sign with Don King to get back into the picture? As usual i am totally confused

Its December the 11th the date.

I think Rahman will get the title by default as he is the interim champ.

The Rest I don't know.

Apparently there is a specific date by which Vitali needs to defend by, or else the title goes to Rahman. King will be pushing for this to happen and if it does, Vitali won't get a look in - unless he signs with Don. I hope they give it to Rahman just so that we can then see the belt holders take each other on to find out who is the undisputed champion. This is what the heavyweight division needs.

Yep throw Brewster in with that lot too. I don't think anybody would have a problem calling the best of these lot the undisputed champion - a tournament with these guys would be fantastic and would be a massive hit with the public.

The winner of a tournament would depend on how these were matched. Say we added in Brewster and Peter, my predictions would be as follows:

Quarters

Rahman-Ruiz

Ruiz again

Byrd-Wlad

Wlad again

Tua-Toney

Toney too smart for Tua but would need to stay well clear of his bombs.

Brewster-Peter

This would be fantastic and hard to choose one but I'll go with Brewster.

Another tough call, I will go with Toney here, but could he really survive consecutive fights against both Tua and Brewster?

Wlad too tall for Toney and becomes undisputed champion of the world! (However if Brewster were to beat Toney, I'd take him over Wlad, again).

Its just a horrible division, and one in which I hold no interest since Lewis retired.

A 5ft 10 guy wouldn't struggle that bad to reachhis chin. Not like he has to touch the top of his head, plus Toney would get him on the inside which is he is much better at doing than Wlad.

I just think that Wlad could keep him on the outside and jab the face off him all night. Toney is only 5'9 after all.

Toney can slip through punches too and Wlad falls over with the first clean punch that lands,

What a fight Toney Tua would be, I would pay all the money I had to see that. Assuming Tua is comming into shape nicely with his current activerty (still at 245lb and could stand to be about 230something but weight going in the right direction) if he gets through Brok then the fight would sell its self.

No, I don't think Toney has the power as a heavyweight to hurt Wlad. I think Wlad struggles against anybody with power (Peter, Brewster, Tua) but beats (and probably stops) anyone who can't hurt him - Ruiz, Byrd and Toney.

I think it's entirely possible that Toney could get into Wlad's head before they even entered the ring, though. Wlad seems to have a few mental demons, and you just know that Toney will be ragging him endlessly in the build-up. And he's well capable of spending the first few rounds slipping shots and taunting little Klit, who I think struggles when guys don't just fold.

Wlad struggled against a Limited Peter so I think Toney would do just fine.

But Wlad was able to keep Peter at a distance for most of the fight. Toney would have to fight all these guys on the inside and that's where they're all at their strongest. Toney has by far the greater skills and as much as he would slip and duck, I can't see him putting any of these fighters on the back foot.

Toney would beat Tua by a wide UD since Tua is tough and because he has a punchers chance. Byrd doesn't have Lewis's reach either.

the present tua that is fighting woudl gwet made to look silly by Toney, come on he has had a couple of warm up fights only agianst opposition that woudl make Audleys last opponents look steller, what makes him all of a sudden the beast that he was...........
