Looking at the other threads there seems to have been a deal of dissatisfaction with Amir Kahns opponent, who would people like to see him in against on the Williams Harrison undercard?

I'd like to see Peter Buckly so he can learn all the pro tricks but with a record like that the press would have a fit.

I would also like to see him step up to six rounds at least although at least the regular action is improving his stamina

Good question.

I'd like to see him in with Henry Janes next, tough old bugger and it will be interesting to gage his power compared to Mitchell. I think Janes is a fairly considerable step up compared to what he has fought.

After that I honestly think he is ready to step up to a slightly higher level maybe an Andrew Ferrans or Anthony Maynard.

I would like to see him get more of a move on than other fighters, this kid is something special. He is up there with Naz as one of the brightest talents I have seen. Naz won his title at 21 - but could have and maybe should have been a 2 weight world champion before he faced Robinson.

By the end of 2006 I would like to see him into British title level, fighting the likes of Dean Phillips, Watson, etc.

I just don't want to see Khan freely teeing off an opponent like a punchbag with absolutely no regard for what is coming back, it teaches him nothing.

I think watching fights like this makes me wish he was still in the ameters having contests rathere than making sure his 0 stayed in tackt I know he is only going into his 4th fight and as I say I appreceate he has been busy with that but he has to get someone with expereance.

Anthony Maynard would be a good little fight. Maynard can be pretty basic but still would press Amir hard. I think in a 4 rounder Maynard might sneek it. in saying that Maynard doesnt hold the greatest of shots, but can Amir pucnh???

Ant is a brummie boy and i would love to see him pull off the upset. It's never gonna happen and even if it did it wouldnt happen till late next year.

I'd love to see Khan vs Bull.

He's looking better because of the training he's doing. If he couldn't afford to do the training on 70k a year before then summat was up.

Dean Phillips is a lightweight, as is Janes...though Janes may give him a scare early on his lack of size will play into Khans hands..or should that be fists

As said before there are plenty of welters and lt-welter who haven`t had anything like Khans amateur schooling so there should be no worry matching him over 4rnds with any of them...thats if they think he really is that good

I see..

i think anyone they find..the guys only had 3 fights n noone with a winning record..he still has to develop n get more fights under his belt before we can really fall in love with him n be sure he is the real thing. i dont think anyone with 3 fights has ever been so popular

I think we might see Khan stepping in with some east europeon in his next couple of matches.

The winning record isn't important it is the quality of the opponent and expereance Kahn will gain at this point.

i would like to see khan in with someone like jon honney over six rounds, it would be a definate step up for amir, honneys a solid pro who would teach amir one or two things.

At the moment these are surely just confidence builders, there will probably be no real threat for the first ten fights. The difficulty comes in making the first transitional step up, because if he just blows through all his opponents he could learn some bad habits, but pretty soon he has to face off against some fighters who are at least of the same physical makeup.

It would be good if we could know who he has in Decembre now would be good if we felt confident the guy had time to prepair. This one should be 6 rounds deffinatly

They would be my aim for the next 3 fights.
