Luke Simpkin's dad?

Found a Cruzer Journyman from the 70s called Lee Simpkin wondering if he is any relation to the Nobby Nobs fighter Luke who I saw rough up Roman Greenburg a bit. anyone know

im sure i remember hearing or reading somewere that he used to box pro a while back so theres a good chance that it would be him.

I wonder if Lee was a relative of some sort, unkle maybe or am I clutching at straws. Would make them an illustreouse boxing family, imagen christmass dinner if things kicked off round the trukey (as they often do in my house hold) there would be a hughe fight and they would all loose whilst doing enough to strech there opponents

I don't think people appreciate the role of such journymen in the sport of boxing in terms of not only saving many a show but also being incredibly useful in the development of young fighters.
