Ill just start with one...Liston over Patterson....2 fights neither of which last a full round.

Ali owned Liston even if the first one went seven and the second is a mystery.

bit contentious this one but Ezzard Charles beat Archie Moore 3 times. Even when Moore looked like he was going to win the second fight Ezzard managed to pull it out of the bag. Ezzard owned Archie

Yes, "owned" in the sense that an inferior fighter always beats the supposed man. Nice one, Barry.

naw moore most likely won the 2nd fight, and had charles out on his feet in the 3rd fight before he landed a miraculous punch and then finished moore. but moore could have easily won 2 out of the 3

Fair points, but the reports I've read favour Charles in the bout (haven't seen it, does a copy exist?). I don't agree on the miraculous punch either. Yes Moore had Charles in trouble but that's what great fighters do, they find a way to win. It takes skill and physical power to KO a great opponent when you have been on the recieving end and they don't come much greater than Archie, but Ezzard still managed to do it. Charles won all 3 fair and square and you can't say that many beat the other greatest fighter at their weight once let alone 3 times. It's an accomplishment that will never be equalled.
I guess we could really do with Jaclem to expand on the 3 fight series and how it went.

Good one Brockton. Perfect example.
- fullmer owned carmen basillio
This one i'm not sure about however. Fullmer won both fights, but didnt exactly dominate. Especially the first fight which was very competitive until the later rounds.
How about walcott owning the Johnson family? I know he beat father and son only once each, but its funny how he knocked them both silly in the third round 12 years apart!

i agree poor choice of words, it wasnt a lucky punch. it was a well timed perfect punch that stopped moore cold and then charles finish him off.

Williams-Jack was fairly competetive. I wouldn't say it was a completly dominant performance.
Ali-Liston 1 was very close at the time of the stoppage, contrary to popular myth.
Hopkins owned Trinidad
