G-man, was it sparring you only saw, or did you see more of his training i.e. weights, running, bag-work etc?

Please tell us more....

He did some rounds with Macklin early on his training.

He sparred Andrew Facey on monday (dropped him with a bodyshot) and sparred this kid today (decked him with a right hand and a also a left hook to the ribs later on):

He did a few rounds on the bar/belt after he sparred.

He looks in great shape.

Yeah I know what you mean. But im talking about us having a proper star to follow who takes on the world's best with more than just a puncher's chance.

This talk of Hamed, just reminds me that Hatton is probably the only British fighter - since Hamed, and not including that Canadian bloke Lennox Lewis - to make waves on the World scene and make the Americans sit up in amazement.

AKA Sugar The Ball Brains?! What the hell is that all about? He has a pretty good record though, KO wins over Nesterenko and Kirvolapov. Stoped late in his eighth fight for the Belgian title, probably in over his head...anyone seen this kid fight?

You might've been better off saying Amir Khan....Harrison won't get out of his first big name fight. And no, Williams is not a big name.

Ball Brains came to my gym, even sparred a couple of rounds. He's classy, though clearly not in Ricky's class.

If I had know his nickname was 'Ball Brains' I would have asked him what this was about....

I think he's pretty raw, has some power though and a dubious chin. Saw his fights with Aaron and Colombel who knocked him down seconds into the fight and also later in the fight, but Jackson showed some heart in surviving.

I can put his first fight with Colombel up for download if you want
