Who wins this fight at 140?

Pazienza is a much better fighter than most give him credit for and Gatti isn't as great as most people think. I'm leaning towards Pazienza winning a close 12 round decision in which both fighters drop one another.

Paz easy. Paz at one time was a very good fighter and beat better competition than Gatti did. Gatti while exciting, was never really that good. His name making wins against Ward,Rodriguez and Rueles(at that point in his career), were fight that a truely good fighter would have won easily. Also, his second win against Patterson was a gift and should have been a second(?) round ko for Patterson.

Pazienza was a much better boxer than Gatti, and he had a decent chin and good stamina-high work rate as well. Paz takes a hard fought but clear cut decision.

Paz wins and buys everyone in the arena a few drinks and brats. He goes broke that very evening and is borrowing money from Gatti 15 minutes later to settle his bill.

paz/gatti

As much as I like Gatti, I'd have to favor Paz to win this - too busy, too many angles for Arturo to deal with. Not sure if Paz could knock Gatti down, but I'm sure he'd try.
