Go back to the current scene you fornicating idiot. You keep going into forums and asking people about Power and whether he's good or not. Listen, he's British level and that's all.

In their current state Lewis...in their prime I would give Ali the edge. I reckon he would be able to work Lewis over with the mind games in the build-up and box to a points decision on the night.

One question though, did Ali ever fight anyone with the height and weight of Lewis, probably not? :box:

Ali fought someone of LEwis size but not the best in quality. Of course Big George would of been as powerful as Lewis (size wise he was 6-3 and 220 - 10lbs lighter and 2inches shorter than Lennoxs prime weight - I'd say Formans stronger though), Shavers hit as hard as anyone today. Tyrel was 6'5 but about 215lbs (to Lennoxs 230prime), Plenty of 6-3 fighters easily handled - Lyle, Mathis, Foreman, Williams, Norton (tough fights but a prime Ali would beat him easy)

This would be a tough fight, a young fleet footed Ali would outbox Lennox - if Bruno, Vitali and Mercers jabs caused Lennox problems Alis footwork and speed (an mindgames) would outdo Lennox. But I'm sure Lennoxs power, size, jab and speed of his own would cause Ali some problems and he'd have a punchers chance (against a man with a great chin and determination this chance isn't that higher)

:TU: Cheers, I'll stick with Ali then over the twelve.

This is not a stupid question at all. Ali never faced a quality fighter of Lewis' size and strenght; while Lewis didn't come across someone with the blistering food- and handspeed of Ali. Stylewise Ali would have been unpleasant for Lewis, to say the least.

No question the pfp Ali was the better fighter, but Lewis had many more pounds - which could well have made the difference.

I read a manny stewart interview when he said that he thought Lewis would win because of his size and skill. I would probably go allong with that Lewis would be a giant. Remember Ali got KOed in his carrer and wasn't unbeatable. just in a good era and media savy.

Stamina would play a part aswell, if Ali could do a bit of the old 'rope a dope' early and get Lennox tired he would probably coast it over the later rounds.

Lewis' size is an interesting question. Rather annoyingly, if you could get the acquired skill of the later Lewis into the 230-pound-range body of the 1992, 1993 Lewis I'd say this is a very interesting fighter. As it is, the bigger he got, the lower his work-rate dropped, which could always lead to him being out-pointed over key rounds or having questions asked of his stamina.

Big lump hit damn hard when he wanted to, though.

60's Ali wins, 70's one gets beat by Lewis.

Who Ko'd Ali Josh fg

He was on the floor and came off it to win (Except Frazier 1)

Ali of the 1960's was too fast and silky for Lewis and would possibly KO him.

Ali of the 1970's was a more polished boxer and would have definitely beaten Lewis, whether he would have done it inside the distance is debatable.

So Ali to win in any given era.

Always considered Ali a arm puncher and never really seemed to hit as hard as people make out.

Saying that Lewis was knocked out twice. Speed and a collective number of punches can have an effect on a fighter and that could happen to Lewis.

Ali 1960's would win on points.
Ali of the 1970's would get beat by the jab of Lewis.
