Roman Greenberg, the undefeated heavyweight, may be stepped up in class for his next fight. Trainer and promoter Jim Evans is currently in discussions with Moganf Palles to match the unbeaten prospect with hot Dane Steffan Neilson for next month.

London based Roman Greenberg was to have fought on November 26 on the undercard of the Ricky Hatton vs Carlos Maussa but was injured (cut eye) whilst sparring.

What do you think of the outcome to this? A step up in class to a fighter that was KO in the last fight that Francis won and is coming off a loss to a fighter with a 33-8 and record?

Interesting. Certainly the best opponent Greenburg would have fought if it happens. I thought Nielsen might be fighting Hersisia for the EU title.

Is the pasted directly from secondsout? Mogenf Palles = Mogens Palle, Steffan Neilson = Steffen Nielsen

I thought Steffen Nielson had retired?

Hardly a great advance in opposition.

Neilsen is 1-1 with Julius Francis. And Francis kayoed him in his last win before 4000 defeats.

If this is stepping up to the plate, then Audley's career has been white knuckle stuff.

This, despite the sceptics, is a sensible progression for Roman.

Agreed. Steffen isnt all that bad. Yes , his durability has a lot to be desired but he has decent skills and a good dig. He's much, much better than Roman has fought before.

If Roman is as big a puncher as some claim then he will stop him in the middle rounds.

Nielsen can win. I dont think he will though.

Nielsen has enough to make Roman fight with more intent than he has previously. Too much cruise control, a slow burn development is all very well. But not if it makes Roman lethargic in the ring.

Nielsen is co challenger for the EU title, so is Sprott, and Team Palle are trying to get that fight on the Kessler vs Lucas undercard.

Yes, when you fight for EBU title you automatically vacant the EU title.
There have already been purseoffer for the fight between Nielsen and Koc, but Koc withdrew for fight Vidoz. Then it was Nielsen vs Hersisia but Hersisia pulled out earlier this week with an injury, so now its Nielsen vs Sprott.

Thats good. I hope Sprott wins again.

I was positive that you had to relinquish the EU title if you fought for the EBU , but some fool argued the toss with me about it.

He can now eat Humble pie.
