Sharkey vs. Wills

Jack Sharkey and Harry Wills fought on Dec.12, 1926 in Brooklyn. Referee Patsy Haley reportedly disqualified Wills in the 13th for using a backhand. Does anyone know the real story behind that fight? Was Sharkey dominating Wills, or did the ref pick an opening to decide it for Sharkey?
