Who has seen this guy fight? Hes got a solid resume, has recently moved down to 175 and is slated to face Stipe Drews once he (Aurino) is healthy again, for the EBU 175 lb title, that doubles as a WBC eliminator.

My friend, who is very unreliable told me that Aurino is slipping a little bit. If youve seen one of his fights from around 2002/2003 and now, would you agree or disagree? In other words, is he past his prime?

I remember seeing him in with Vincenzo Rossitto on Eurosport and getting knocked out at Cruiser by Juan Carlos Gomez and recently against Artem Solomko, he was strutting around like Roy Jones but is not the best when he steps up in class but overall a good solid European operator. I have only seen Drews a couple of times in with Oliver Beard and Paul Briggs and i think this is a very good matchup. Depends how much Drews has to offer, i will back him to take a close decision.

I have seen most of Aurino's later fights. He doesn't look shot to me.

In hindsight, I would say that was Nelson's best title defence. I didn't think much of Arino at the time but I have grown to respect him since.

I don't think he is shot, its a toughie to call. Arino is undefeated at Light Heavy.
