The Scotsman is reporting that Scot's final defence is looking likely for the Braehead Arena on 25 February. Khan on the undercard.

Very tough fight - if I were managing Scot I'd try to get him to avoid this one, just as Maloney tried to do. Credit to him for taking it though, have to admire his guts.

I think Guzman will beat him, Harrison knows only one way to fight these days marching forward I think he'll take a bit of a pounding. I think Guzman wins a decision.

Going to try and get tickets for this one

Just hope it doesn't get cancelled.

It'll be intersting to see what route they take at Super feather after the Guzman fight, Go the WBO route and fight Barrios or go for MAB and the IBF & WBC belt, i have no idea who has the WBA belt, i just hope he goes for one of the big 3.

Maybe Scott will pull out a big performance, but he will have to to beat Guzman.

Interesting looking at Guzman's record though, he hasn't faced off against the best of competition so far, and recently hasn't been stopping people either.

Might this fight be coming too soon for Guzman? After all, Scott is the more experienced fighter, and although he has looked vulnerable, that was against experienced fighters.

I respect Harrison for fighting Guzman but think he will get stopped in this fight... Maybe late..

I'm still of the minority opinion that Scott will beat Guzman. I think it's a good match for him. Guzman will stand right in front of him, and go toe to toe. Not many Feathers will stand a chance against Scott. He is huge for the weight. Hi sonly problem is weight weakening the longer the fight goes on

Guzman is not a brawler, he is an excellent boxer with power. He has a lot more movement than Harrison does.

Im glad that Scott is now getting a bit of well earned credit on the forum, now that he has demanded this fight.

Harrison will wear Guzman down if he is in top shape physically.

He's always in top shape isn't he? Watched Guzman/Sanchez (RIP) the other day, and it was a mightily impressive performance by Guzman: he was throwing TNT in there.

But...Sanchez looked much smaller, and it might be the other way round with Harrison - though they're both the same height.

Both look in for the toughest fight of their careers.

When i say top shape i mean not as weight drained as he has of late.

I admire the fact he is taking this fight as he really needs to move up a division asap for his own health.

Yes he gets full respect for not ducking this one. But it was a bit of an eye opener to hear him says he takes 2 months to make the weight - WTF?!

I make Guzman an early favorite here, though I'd love to see Scot win.

Even Super Feather would be hard for him.

Harrison loses this one, imo. He is a very limited fighter who has the advantage of being big for the weight and extremely tough. He didn't deserve the draw against Polo in my opinion, and will be found out be a clever fighter like Guzman. It should be fairly entertaining though, as both guys like to throw lots of big punches.

He takes 2 months as he works with some boffin Dr at Glasgow University to make weight safely. Quite a clever thing to do really.

Size is Harrison's advantage until the last few rounds, when the effects of getting down to feather are his downfall, regardless of the work with Professor McBoffin.

Guzman for me, but it should be entertaining. And should cue Harrison's move up to 135 without many bargaining chips.

I do have enormous respect for Harrison for wanting this one.

big respect to harrison for taking this fight - as previously mentioned he could have jumped upto superfeather and soon secured a shot at barrios. But i reckon guzman will stop him late - guzman has skills and power and if u remember his title winning performance in cardiff u'll know he is a very good body puncher - scot's weakness.

If Harrison moves up it should be at least Lightweight. Super Feather is only another 4 pounds and thats still much to drain down to for him.

harrison will be 2 strong for guzman. juan guzman is a slow starter scott inside 5 if he makes the weight i think he waitin on arthur 2 win a world title then move up for a krack at him in a big west of scotland vs east big money sellout gd luck scott wee tyson in the backyard ko lol
