This would be an all time classic and great fight to watch. Arguably even better than against Cotto or Maywether. But will it ever happen , i sure hope it does. the workrate would be equal, but with the strength advantage going to Hatton he should win.
And this could take place in Madison Square Garden, Top of the bill fight.
Also Castillo wouldnt run away, he'd be toe to toe all night!

I would love it to happen. For me it's one of the biggest fights in boxing at the moment. I'd even rather it to Hatton-Mayweather.

Yeah it'd be some fight, and huge box office in the USA as well - a real marquee event. I think there's a good chance it could happen to, as it's likely a fight that will appeal to the Hatton camp: he'd be favorite to win with his size advantage, and the Mexican is not really a huge puncher either ( though he looked it last time out ).

Plus ,as I read it somewhere, approx $1 million.

A much more attractive fight to me that RH Vs PBF.

On the last performances of both, I would take Hatton to win by a TKO.

Ask me again after Saturday when I think we will see what the KT fight took out of RH and I may have a different answer

I Think he should fight Castillo before Cotto or Maywether. Or even in between Cotto / Maywether.

Don't think it took much out of Hatton as it's the only war he had.

When Sharmba did land Floyd scruntced up a bit. Way he was talking to his corner all cocky. Imagine if it's Hatton who hits him!

I think Castillo would be the easiest big name fight to make.

a fight with castillo is far more likely than a fight with mayweather imo

Interesting that Hatton described the fight with Tszyu as 'hell' recently. It was a relatively hard night's work, but compared to the kind of hellacious beating that the likes of Gatti and Ward, Castillo and Corralles, Barrera and Morales have lain on one another, I wouldn't describe it as hell.

I think it must have been something of a shock to Hatton to be in with Tszyu after the soft touches he had had. Thaxton probably gave him the worst night prior to that, Magee dropped him, but then seemed to go negative, Tackie was too limited to really push him, and Phillips only fought in spurts.

After Maussa, Ricky needs to push for a Mayweather fight as soon as possible. I think a war with Castillo would take a lot out of him and lower his chances of beating PBF, but if he loses to PBF, there are still some excellent match ups that can be made v Cotto, Witter & Castillo. I fear Ricky is going to be fighting Gatti on his US debut - assuming Gatti comes through his January bout.

That is one of my fears also. I heard Sky talking up this fight last night. That would be a silly career move for Hatton. He will be on a lose/lose situation. If he smashes Gatti, he would of beaten a has been but if he loses or it is close, he wont be in the same league as Mayweather. I hope Gatti stays at 147 and Hatton stays at 140!

Mayweather-Hatton is the fight for the ages - Castillo-Hatton would be good BUT I don't want anything getting in the way with A mayweather fight. Castillos a level below Mayweather as everyone saw in the second fight - Hatton and May are the no1s and is the more interesting match-up.

I also think Castillos overated and Cassamoya gave him a boxing lesson but was robbed. He also basically purposely cheated against Corrales in the second fight - coming in 5lbs over and having his man try to cheat the scales for him.
