All the three matches between Alan Minter and Kevin Finnegan must rate pretty high. Then there is Ted'kid' Lewis vs Johnny Basham... Eric Boon vs Arthur danahar... the Jock Mcavoy vs Len Harvey fights.... in the old days the top fighters actually used to fight eachother quite a bit!... 8)

Has to be Eubank-Watson fights and the Benn-Eubank fights - has to be better than Benn-Watson which ended on an eye poke and a jab. Pity there wasnt a third fight between Benn and Eubank

Lenno-Bruno at HW and Cooper-Bugner

Hatton-Witter would be great but even some of the fans dont want it to happen now

hatton vs Witter would still be very interesting but I think Witter is in decline, he's not the boxer he was 2 years ago...

But on the small hall scene there has been many, one that stands out for me is Brodie against Swain.

Ayers V Rigby...

as already mentioned Thompson v Eubank and Eubank v Benn 1 were great

Yep, it was weird, the fight was just sort of stopped my mutual consent. Rigby had had enough of being hit, Ayers had been trying to get the fight stopped for the previous minute gesturing at the ref to stop it, and in the end it just stopped without anyone really stopping the fight.

Ayers vs Dunne wasn't bad either....

How about Kaylor vs Christie... that was a classy cracker!....

that ref, whos name escapes me, is notorious for letting fights go on too long (Mercante ???)

Kaylor V Gumbs was a good one too

Dunne v Schwer was a cracker too.

Benn v Eubank was huge, no denying it.

But Watson's plight aside, I was pretty pumped up for that fight with Eubank. Watson was so brilliant that night, so brilliant.

Hamed v Robinson was one-sided but just breathtaking.

Ayres versus Rigby was a cracker, won fight of the year from memory, then of course there was Vanzie versus Murray which was a pretty see-saw encounter too.

Watson fought out of his skin in their first and second fights. The tragedy is that he fought a much more aggressive fight as a result of the robbery in the 2nd, and as a result took a lot more punishment than he needed to.

For an occasion it has to be Benn vs Eubank II. I was pumped for that one for weeks.

Eubank vs Thompson 1 was probably the greatest all British fight I have seen. The rematch was also notworthy, but a sad and controvesial ending.

One of the best ive seen recently had to have been Alex Arthur vs Craig Docherty

Don't forget Dave 'Boy' Green's total mayhem with John Stracey, the Freddie Mills-Bruce Woodcock war (or was it wars?) and what was once described as the most unbelievable display of boxing and punching from both combatants, the first Benny Lynch-Peter Kane duel.

Totally agree. But the best has to be Del Bryan V Darren Dyer.

If all goes to plan Harrison V Williams

Chris Saunders vs Del Bryan and Ryan Rhodes vs Paul Jones were belters as well

What about Rocky Kelly vs Kostas Petrue and Tony BRown... both real toe to toe wars...
