i had it 114-113 nelson

I felt with Nelson boxing in Italy it could easilly have gone either way.
Whilst for the majority of the fight he was in control, he still didn`t do much...except show-boat.

Whilst it was not edge of seat action, he did keep me amused how he mugged in there.
He really showed his experience how well he knows the game.

He is more beatable but just not sure if Enzo knows enough yet, but glad Nelson retained the fella is a star

I had it 116-113. He was taking the piss out of the Italian for the first eight rounds.

did'nt think Nelson was that impressive, he could have wrapped it up earlier if he were'nt mucking about so much, Enzo must be rubbing his hands together!

I wanted Nelson to get robbed after all his poncing around like that.

He's been out of the ring for fourteen months I think he wanted to get the rounds under his belt

Nelson will still toy with Enzo. And I'm a fan of the Welshman. Nothing Maccarinelli has faced to date will prepare him for Nelson, Johnny will make him miss all night long, and Nelson's punches are, for my money, a damn sight more hurtful than they look. Enzo's best chance is his power (which is considerable, IMO) But Nelson has survived against Heavyweights, so I don't think it's that big a deal for him.

I'd be cheering for Maccarinelli, but I can't see how the last 18 months have prepared him for the step up to Nelson's level.

Enzo needs a step up in class big time, his career is becoming a joke. How can anyone claiming to be a world champion accomodate a guy like that Heinichen character last night? Why is he being moved along with such intense caution i don't understand, is his chin really that fragile. Why no risks at all? His opposition level recently has been pitiful.

I agree 100% it does make you start to wonder do they know something about Enzo we don't? (but are starting to suspect?)

Enzo hits like a mules kick but has less than average whiskers for a guy with world championship aspirations...

He was lucky not to get stopped by Bruce, and Bruce has never been a one punch knock out type at the higher levels... and the Swaby stoppage looks pretty bad too..... Swaby has a decent whack (although he normally fights very defensively), but again, only at domestic level.

Nelson has stopped guys with one shot before...so you fancy he could do that to Enzo..... unless he gets pysched out

Watched the Nelson fight on tape yesterday, had him winning but only be 4 rounds max.

I voted with my eyelids yesterday afternoon and fell asleep during round 6 or 7 watching a recording.

Haye vs Nelson would be more interesting than Enzo in my opinion. Haye is the sort that will catch Nelson and stop him. Enzo can punch hard but looks predictable.

And Cantatore isn't predictable? Nelson looks to have slowed enough for Macarinelli to be in with a good shout.

Just watched the tape....Changed my mind completely. EM will KO Nelson the first time he lands clean. Age has caught up with him at last and he cannot duck and dive anymore. Graham, Naz and now Nelson...when they slow they go.
